The John Lennon Center for Music & Technology at Five Towns College presents
Let It Be(fore & After): A Fab 40th Anniversary Celebration
The brandnew concert from Long Island’s premier Beatles tribute band Mostly Moptop.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary year of its 1970 release,
Mostly Moptop will perform The Beatles’ LET IT BE album in its entirety—
along with other Fab Four hits and album-track gems from “before” the band’s breakup
and a number of solo songs from John, Paul, George and Ringo released just “after” the split.
Enjoy such Beatles favorites as
“She Loves You,”
“Nowhere Man,”
“While My Guitar Gently Weeps,”
and “Octopus’s Garden,”
along with solo tracks like
“Instant Karma,”
“Maybe I’m Amazed,”
“What Is Life?,”
and “It Don’t Come Easy.”
With this show, Mostly Moptop pays homage to the Beatles’ music
made together and apart... all those years ago. Join the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center
and Mostly Moptop (celebrated by Newsday, The New York Times, and
News12 as one of the top Beatles tribute bands on the East Coast)
as they proceed to get things back to where they once and have always belonged —
with the music of John, Paul, George, and Ringo.
Saturday, March 20, 7:30 PM, $25
